I have a big yard:whistle: but I know how y'all like pics. DSCN7871.JPG Actually you guy's might think I'm wasting this (Basswood), but it's going in the swamp to make a "corduroy" road. Not worth working up for firewood, about as useless as Lanthis or "tree of Heaven".

Update on the Brinly 17 yard cart
I've decided after 1.5 years that the Brinly can't handle heavy tasks even though its says 850 pound capacity .
The side AND the bottom of the tub has broke.
I have the owners manual and it claims a 2 year warranty on the tub, but, even if they replace the tub, the warranty is going to run out in a few months and I'll be left with a flimsy plastic ticking time bomb....

    Lesson learned...:(
Should have built my own or bought something more industrial strength!!!

IMG_3824.JPG IMG_3823.JPG I've shared this pick before. This is two independant single axles. Allows the bed to stay pretty level. I've got lots of rocks to get over. Advertises as 20.5 cu.ft. And 1250 lbs capacity. It's on the high end for price, Northerntool has it at $429, which is much better than what I paid for it at HD in December.
It replaced the 20 cu.ft. Craftsman that had the snot beat out of it. So far it's exactly what I was looking for. It has a dump, but for wood it's kinda useless.

No, I just did a quick search in Tim's part of PA. I'm a craigslist searchaholic!

I'm looking for something a little heavier duty with good ground clearance to pull behind my tractor. Maybe something like this which is up on craigslist close by. Don't have the cash now though.

    Utility Trailer

These DR look nice. But expensive. Single axle 1000 lbs capacity and tandem axle 2000 lbs capacity.

These tandem axle trailers from Northern Tool look nice for ATV size. Good capacity. Two models at 1500 lbs or 1200 lbs capacity.

Keeping in mind that freshly cut firewood can be real heavy and the pounds can add up very quickly.

That CL one looks like an old re-purposed manure spreader. You can probably find one a lot cheaper than that (they always rot out), pull out all the slinging mechanism and re-board it yourself...?

If I come up with $400 I was thinking of offering him that. Should hold a lot of weight as long as frame is solid. You think?
