    Either too dry or not done in the leg joint area, even if the breast is done. Just haven't really keyed in fully. But love the flavor that smoking does it...

    Today I made fresh venison tenderloin. Two days in a red wine-dijon marinade. Sauce is a chicken stock/blackberry jam reduction.

    Holy chit that looks delicious!!! I tested out my Party Q temp controller on my Akorn and it worked great!! Next weekend I am smoking pork spare ribs and made the rub today.. Cooked a large chicken with potatoes this weekend and they came out great!

    www.firecraft.com had the best price and well worth the price.. I just ordered rechargeable AA's for it from Amazon called Eneloop..

    I use a ton of these for the solar lights around the yard in the summer. These last way longer than the cheapo ones that come with the lights.
