Real cheap dollar store hand sanitizer is mostly alcohol, so take a cup of pellets, soak in gel, throw in burn pot........

I forgot about the sanitizer, Its the closest thing to the gel stuff and works dandy. Seeing its cold season. Many stores will have it on hand too.....

I pushed the pins in the connector, but no igniter, so used hand sanitize to start it up.
Let's see if it keeps running overnight.....

BTW - I am wondering about other cables....the wires were a bit stretched since the side panel was hanging down a bit.....guess will recheck tomorrow but would like to know which exact wire is the one for the igniter coming into the connector, if someone knows...

    running in low, #1.
But just removed the film from the outside and was able to push heat button for #2 heat.....hmmmm maybe the film was the issue with the buttons to begin with....
I still have side panel open and hanging on a side.....

The film is on mine. Stiff as heck. I could not get mine to turn in until I pushed so hard it broke through the film. Once my finger hit the button it fired up.

I'm likely to order a new one. Gonna price a new one soon. Likely after the holidays. As long as it aint nuts on $$?

Anyone knows the specific wire for the igniter coming into the plug?

Ok, will check it out but I know I pushed all wires into the plug really well.
The wires coming out of the igniter (I think I saw 2) were white if I remember and do not go directly to the board but actually plug into a connector near the auger....that is what I remember.....

That's the connectors you'd unplug if you want to try direct 120v to see if ignitor is good.
