    Tick prevention........

    We've used frontline on both dogs, Saucy with success, but he doesn't romp around the woods and fields as much as Maple, nor a hunting dog. Ive heard of dogs nowadays getting a tolerance to frontline etc. Maple had plenty of ticks last year, even though on frontline, and I just pulled one off of her tonight.The ticks bit and gorged, and didnt die, so she may be a canidate for something else. Theres a lot of new product out there, and I would only purchase a good reputable brand from our vet.

    Who has had success with what?

    I rock nothing but Frontline, and still pick em off. Lots of confirmed problems from other stuff. Be careful what u wish for. Just cuz it kills ticks, doesn't mean maple will not have a reaction.

    Any thoughts on brewers yeast & garlic tabs? Ive read a bit here tonight that it works wonders for tick prevention, as well as health benefits......
