I had 4 of the Mimosa, but one had to go. It was sending roots over to the septic system, so I felled it and killed the root system before it got into trouble. I love those trees, and the hummingbirds do too.
Umm, nope, But I do have a project sitting there that I'm working on that I don't want anyone to see. At least not until it's complete. BUT, I have been considering showing some actual pictures of me sometime in the near future.

I have anywhere from 30 to 50 that visit my place fairly regularly. I keep at least 4 feeders going all the time, sometimes as many as 6, and I'm always on the lookout for feeders that I feel are appealing to them. I've also tried to gear my of my flowers towards them. Last year, I noticed they were even going after my roses.

This year I should be able to get some decent videos of some of them due to the new camera system I installed. I don't quite understand why they have to fight all the time, but I think it may just be their nature. Their War games are fun to watch as well as their courting rituals. They have finally gotten comfortable with me where they will come within a foot of my face and just hover there and let out a little peep. Kind of like saying 'hi there, and how are you today?' And me, I'm hoping they don't think my eyes are flowers and decide to poke their beak into one or both.

Pictures of me, well, I'm the shy type, plus, I figure y'all will turn to stone once you view the pictures. :faint:

Wanna see more dead deer pictures. I have lots.

Actually I won't post any more of those simply because the couple I did post as well as letting some know the amount I killed seemed upsetting to quite a few. So I won't be posting any more of that type.

And here is another picture of the cube pretty much as it is today. I did shorten it a bit but stacked it higher due to a land/mudslide.

The mud slide wasn't too bad, but it was getting dangerously close to my wood piles so I tighten the piles up a bit. This spring I will be doing the cleanup, put up a retaining wall and fix the upper part so the rain drains off a different way. That happened last year when this area received about 23 inches of rain in under a week.

Wait until I post pictures of me, some may have boxes or smears in various places too.

I'd also show the shed with about 7 cord stuffed in it, but you can't see in the door since it's so full. It's stacked wall to wall and floor to ceiling. That doesn't include about a half cord left on the porch or the third of a cord inside the house. (2 racks, 4 feet wide by 4 feet tall, by 16 inches deep) or the third of a cord in the garage.

I intend to add even more this year.
