I do see a couple 90* spots that could use some attention. You really only need to break the corner on the plating when your beveling. It alot easier to do with a round stone or diamond ball.

90° angle on the port opening is what I'm referring to. In the pic above on the left side of the ex see how the edge is almost a sharp corner? Break the edge of the plating with the round diamond ball you posted.

Green will be fine. White is around 1200 grit if I remember.

Good evenin friends... I got it started...but runs like crap...when you hit the throttle... It bogs...I can't get it tune and onece in awhile it back fires...when it idles...its a steady idles...but its a weird idle...bop..bop..bop...is the best I can describe it. I canturn the fuel and air of and it will die...so I don't think it has an air leak there..it did back fire this once...then the idles changed and it reved up a bit..let off the trigger and it went back to the wierd idle again..then you hit it and it went back to like its loadin up...any ideas...thank you...

Check the flywheel to make sure it's not slipped.

Start from there but set it where it needs to be. And pit the air filter back on it as you will be running with one and it creates restriction.
    Nice n clean!!

I was going to say to check the crank wire. I crinkled one putting the hand crank plate back on a 372 XP one time First time I ever attempted to work on a saw. I nearly had a mental break down thinking I had screwed my baby doll up. I fooled with it long enough to become extremely panic stricken. I jumped in my truck and flew to my uncles house. He cranked it and said you crinkled the coil wire. 5 minutes later, it run like the champ it was.

Good luck on the saw. God Bless

I use to always use 40:1 but now I run 32:1. It's your call but I don't like less than 40
