Thanks for the pictures. I'm getting ready to order AT100. I was planning to get the washer style mount.

I got this order in the other day, one probe sensor for the pipe installed just below the damper and one washer sensor for the stovetop. I run a blower all the time so I put the washer sensor under a small piece of ceramic so the airflow over it would affect the reading less. The stove top sensor is reading about 75-100 degrees lower than my IR thermometer. The probe sensor is reading about twice what the IR thermometer is reading on the outside of the pipe.

Both of the slave units communicate with the master upstairs, you just have to select a different ID for each slave. And then in order to see the reading from either slave you just tell the master which ID to display, nice to not have to run up and down the cellar stairs a bunch of times.

I also got it for a little piece of mind for my wife. Her family home burned when she was a child so she has always been a little apprehensive about heating with wood. I explained how the alarms work and she seemed ok with it.

I bet it is , add in the alarm function and It's probably worth the cost.
I had my alarm go off twice last year , and because of it alerting me there ended up being no real danger

I finally got my AT100 High Temp Alarm.

Question: I noticed the high temp alarm will not go off a second time until the probe temp first drops BELOW the low temp limit, and then rises again to the high temp setting. Nothing in the manual about this. Does that make sense? I silenced the alarm with the shift key.

What bugs me is the instruction manual says:
Press shift key once can temporarily silence the alarm. Alarm will be retriggered if the alarm set temperature is reached again.

Pays for itself the first time.

Mine works for the High Temp alarm but acts strangely. To confirm it worked before installing on my stove, I set the high temp to 76F and low to 75F and the alarm works good, tripping continuously when the temp rises to 76F.

The problem is a couple times a week it beeps for 2 seconds when it DROPS to 64F and stores a max high reading of 162F. Just annoying but I can live with it. I contacted Auberins, and they suggested taking a video of it misbehaving. Too random of an event.

The strange thing is I did not set any low temp alarm. One alarm is set to high alarm at 76F and the other alarm is disabled by setting AL1=AH1=250F.
The low alarm technically is not really going off since it's just a 2 second beep, but it only happens when the temp drops to 64F. And when it beeps the Max temp stores a reading of 162F. Very strange.

I've only had to light my Palladian twice this Winter, but both times the AT100 worked great. The washer probe responds instantly to the single wall pipe temp and notifies me when the temp hits 580F. I love this alarm, thanks to this site I bought it.
