We ended up plugging that entire 3rd row that wasn't plugged yet. Pics only show 3 rows plugged.

That stove burned like a champ after that.

Granted Magnum came out with an upgraded combustion blower and impeller to overcome the burn issues. My buddy just modded his pot to accommodate airflow.

The more air you get "under" the pellets? The better! :)

    Ok, sounds good.

BTW - trimmed feed rate and air last night after turning stove, checked this morning and seems like the change didn't make much difference.... :hair:
    WTF...:picard:

    Burning a bag of Lignetics.

I burned in the lowest heat but that shouldn't matter.

As you probably already know, "Low" on most pellet stoves is the toughest to get a decent burn at.

I know, but turning up the heat would mean more pellets going to burn pot, hence more bunch up...I'm in a lose-lose situation it seems..:picard::picard::picard:

Most typically, pellet build-up is one of 3 things: a dirty stove and/or exhaust system, a failing exhaust fan, or air leaks (bad door/glass gaskets).

Just wanted to show you how the burn pot looks like after running stove for 12 hours, unburned pellets bunching to the top and flame lazy as hell...can you feel my frustration??:hair::hair:

How much have you run through the stove since then?

Probably over 2 tons but remember that I have cleaned since, using vacuum from outside, at least 3 times.
I just cleaned again system from outside a couple weeks ago before season started.
The times I removed the motor it is actually relatively clean inside there, again because the cleaning with the vacuum from outside.

This stove worked fine at least the first season.

I am seriously thinking on ordering the Harman motor tomorrow as the last resource..!!!

As long as the stove is definitely clean and all your gaskets are good with no leaks then this would point to the comb blower.

I still feel the leaf blower or air compressor might do wonders, if not, then grab the new blower which you might need anyway if it's making noise.

Cleaned the burn pot, here's how vibrant is the flame with air flow, nice flame. I'm burning good pellets so no clinkers when I cleaned it but seemed like pellets not burned completely, hence the bunch up..

In that video steve posted at 1.57 mark, They said something odd! Its rated to burn premium grade softwood pellets only, Yet they show Cubex hardwoods???

Doubt it means anything, But it made me chuckle.

Up the heat to 4 and flame has like an orange tail and to me is dispersed or lazy? Not uniform all the way up like in the video.

Geek....does your firepot "teeter" at all when it's in the stove or does it sit flush?

When was the last time you had exhaust port open and cleaned behind the firebrick?

When I had those issues, I exhausted about everything until I came to the fact that it was the ash pan door not closed and sealed properly. Check the gasket to the ash pan door and see it that is reasonably tight.

Picture attached, note that the upper side of glass is dirty but you can see the flame.
    I cleaned glass Friday night.
