First stack by the mud room door downstairs. Second pic is outside the front door. Stacks of boiler wood & more house wood. Finally my "solar farm" with next years wood. 90F. & windy . Still getting good temps. Whoops! A little more.
How much faster does the shrink wrap dry the wood? So you leave the bottom open for the moisture to come out
A couple of pictures I took yesterday. First is my north property line and neighbor will use most of it. This is my little stash. With luck, about 3 years worth. Not bad for a city girl.
Warm moist air would rise being replaced by the cooler air coming in at the bottom; so I am guessing there is some outlet at the top for this warm moist air to escape.
This is my first year with the solar kiln stretch wrap. Started with green wood ( mostly mulberry) this spring. Plan on checking the moisture content in a few weeks.
Nice DexterDay! You do have quite the wood trailer tractor.... Sweet! Must've just got done with the mowin(a few days ago) I spy a dirty cutter deck
I filled the shed just after the GTG. Thats a pretty old pic.. The mower is actually clean now. My daughter and I just cut today.
Well, got 4 cord of mix for shoulder season on the covered wood deck 17 feet from wood stove. it's stacked ugly a use I cut at 16 to 18 inches but buddies cut big rounds shorter to load easier...
As long as it keeps you warm is all that matters. I like the clear tarp you have. What kind is and how does it hold up for the winter
Heres the link to a thread with the tarp info on it. I'll be doing it again when the next section needs to be done. Quality Tarp | Firewood Hoarders Club
