Picked up a ton of Okie's yesterday:D They're not to common in my area, the furnace will like them when it's extra cold outside:smoke:Stash is at 4.5t+ Cubex, 1t Okie's and 10 bags of PWI super premium. Also in the mix, about 12 bags of corn. The buzzard eyes are still on the look-out for the good stuff, pellets & beer:vulture:

I had really good luck mixing 50/50 Cubex and softwood pellets (LG Granules) last season on the stove here - threw out lots of heat. Just tossed equal scoops in an empty bag, mixed well, and fed the stove.. Didn't have to change anything else.

Only mention it, because those Okie's would probably do the same.. options are always good to extend supply, when it's cold outside.

I'm using a 7" Selkirk outside chimney for my Harman Accentra from day one with no problems. Excellent draft so no smoke in house when power goes out. I would go 4" to upsizer. Some others should chime in soon with there opinions.

Agree, go 4" to the upsizer -> existing 6" vent to promote airflow / draft.

Provided the existing chimney/pipe is in good condition, sure that will work - the pellet stove exhaust temps. should not exceed the existing wood stove temps., would just do a thorough cleaning & visual inspection on the existing pipe before install.

    * But if any questions / doubt, best the folks check with the local town, fire department, stove dealer, etc. to make sure everything is safe and to code.
