Thx Jack Straw -it has a floating axle that keeps you from tipping in the woods over obstacles and will haul 1500 lbs-approx 150-175 splits-2 of those full with the rail kit fill a standard 6' truck bed stacked-its 22 sq ft capacity without rails, 35 sq ft with---its pretty tough and light to manuever
Good job! All I did was bring home a couple of pallets for stacking, and another couple for a firewood tool.
Polar Trailer is the brand-Clam Outdoors is the parent company-My best deal was at Lowes delivered to store, much cheaper than Home Depot for some reason-Tractor Supply had a better price but none near me-I got the rails and ball coupler on Amazon as damaged box and saved a good bit-They have several models-Mine is the 1500 HD w/tandem walking axles

I plan on firewood fun tomorrow am, then finishing my boat work. That way on Sunday, we will be in the boat.
Good for you sir-I had a great round of golf today but it was hot!!!! The Polar is still loaded down so Im thinking at best it gets stacked up the bottom on the pallets and little else as much as I'd like to go to the farm and cut a load of ash-I dont have a boat, but do have an in-ground pool thats not opened yet-may work on it-you stay safe and kinda sober...
I took advantage of the cool weather today and did some splitting, ended up with almost as many uglies, shorts, and chunks as I did nice splits but it was Hickory so I will definitely save them and use them for heat
The trailer is a brute-I think its 640. at Tractor Supply-think I paid 679. @ Lowes, delivered to store-the ball hitch and rails are extra-I bought damaged box from Amazon-got hitch for 20. and rails for 75.-they are must haves-rails increase payload from 22 to 35 sq ft.-My situation was unique-I have unlimited wood and property but only old haul roads-I had to have a way to get it out from remote locations so the expense made sense to me and has worked out nice-I thoroughly endorse the trailer and have had good interaction with the company...they answer the phone and are very helpful...
Now that is Almost Heaven, West Virginia! Of all the wood sheds I've seen here, I really like the one you have. Sound like you've got a firewood hoarders dream setup. Love that trailer too.
