    Are you sure your hopper isn't bigger than 72 lbs.? I can't come close to fitting 2 bags in mine not matter how small the pellets are.

    I just looked up the brochure, it's 125 lbs. Guess the 72 lbs was the other stove I was considering before buying this one.

    Well it is -10℉ here this morning. Normally I would have the West Point set hi/lo at level 3. But, I had to get cute. Figured I would Set it to two, leave the bonus room open with the 55-TRPEP set on level 3. Only problem, the Englander shut down some time during the night due to low fuel. I had filled it at 6pm and it was out sometime before 5am. Growing pains I guess. The house was 60-65 and the bonus room was 50:shiver:.

    Cranked both stoves and was quickly back to normal......now off to snow blow.:mad:

    Pellet bags are 40lbs. Why on earth any manufacture makes a hopper rated for anything other than a weight that is divisible by 40 is the real ID10T

    I guess if they can't make the hopper big enough to fit 80lb I would rather it hold as much as possible which in my case it's 60 lb. If the hopper was larger, the insert would not fit in my fireplace!!

    My hastings claims to have a 42lb hopper. I can't fit a full bag in it. There's always about 2-3lbs left in the bag, go figure :picard:

    Inserts are a different breed. You don't really see many bigger than 60. But that would be my minimum.

    As I just finished my snow blowing the machine started to sound like it was going to die under load:headbang:. Hope that's it for snow this winter. It may need a check up.

    The P68 is rated at 78lbs. Why they didn't just make it a tiny bit bigger is beyond me.:picard:

    Remember every pellet weighs a little different… I can put 1 1/3 bags of Marth hardwoods in my St. Croix but only 1 bag plus a smidgen more of Uncle Jed's softwoods.

    My endurance says 112lb , I can't fit a full 3 bags. Maybe 2.5

    It's good marketing to oversize.

    Mine is rated at 130. It can just fit three bags. But about a half a bag or more hangs up on the side.
