What's the best 2-stroke oil?

    You'll be fine with R50 then. I do cut when it's below 20 since I can't pick the times I cut around weather.

    Mike aren't you in Tennessee? Do you have that many days a year your cutting below 20F?

    I'm right on the TN/VA line. I went the other day and it was 18 when we started. I have cut as low as 4° before.

    I was just thinking its not that it doesnt and couldnt happen but we usually warm up.

    It's not that often but some oils say not to use below 32 so I do look at that more.

    I think I was trying to say its not hard to hit 32F when cutting?

    Will be interesting to see what you can determine. FWIW I've put 3 tanks through my new 461 with lucas at 40:1 at the richest the H will allow with limiter tabs in place. Saw runs good and the carbon that is deposited on the clutch cover, not much by the way, pretty much wipes right off. H1R was like this, maybe a touch better in this regard. Now is this anyway to judge an oil? No idea really, just was something I noticed.

    Lucas was the least costly from all I have purchased, want some to try ?
    I have a few empty 379ml bottles from H1R that I use to mix gas and oil in before I put it in the jug. I can fill it with 12oz of Lucas and send it
