To answer your questions Dexter , both the primary and secondary air slots are in the back and both controlled with a slide gate with a simple lever in the front. The stove top always runs between 550 and 700 so, if you're just simmering or warming, ya gotta use a trivet. I want to get a couple burned out with different designs - I think they would make nice accessories or promo add-ons. It's difficult to get lower temps. aircontrol.jpg

    Interesting...

    About Us
Cubic Mini Wood Stoves manufactures miniature stoves from our shop in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, that are portable, fuel-efficient, and well-constructed. It is the ideal heater for sailing, hiking, camping, and many other uses.

    Meet Our Owner
Hello, my name is Alex Tzabanaki and I am the inventor of The Cubic Mini Wood, a heater inspired by my own personal sailing experience. Spending the day on the lake was great but when the sun set, it was a whole different story; the cold and humidity would settle in, making it very unpleasant for both my guests and myself. Oftentimes we would wake up tired from a lack of sleep with swollen eyes caused by this damp environment and I knew it was time for a change!

    Locally Constructed
With my stove, necessity truly was the "mother of invention." Having my own fabrication company here in Montreal, Canada, helped me in deciding to dedicate my engineering and manufacturing experience and resources to solve my problem. The Cubic Mini Wood Stove was then born, solving my previous cold and humidity issues while bringing a form of coziness that words cannot describe.

    A Warm Reception
Soon after, I began receiving requests from friends and neighbors who quickly recognized the value of this little jewel. Some installed it on their boats while others found great use for it in their RV's, sheds, and cabins — one customer installed it in his tractor trailer to keep him warm at night! In late 2013, I decided to share this stove's winning results by making it available to everyone through our new online store.

Contact us today and find out how our mini wood stove is sure to warm you up on those cold nights.

6000 to 14,000 BTU from a firebox this tiny and a stove that weighs less than 30lbs? Sounds a little optimistic.

ok the stove I'm going with is the cubic....I actually like the way the mini 12 looks its a nice looking stove and Lloyd should be proud of his product! but in the end it comes down to finances....if they were the same price I'd buy one of Lloyds stoves...so I'll send pictures next month when I get it installed in my camper van...I've been getting a lot of grief because of the vanbut I got it all worked out it'll be fine

That pretty cool, would go great in my boat. Seal up thos air leaks along top right side, and put air control on the air holes below the firebox and I bet you will get 24 hour burns!! ;)
