Yes, they are adjustable. The outer leg cover hangs on the structural steel legs. They have about 5" of height adjustment. Look at the video I posted about removing the leg covers. There is an H shaped structural steel leg at the bottom on the side behind the leg cover that can be adjusted up of down by removing 3 bolts.

Here's a screen capture from the video:

BBAR, I'll get back to you sometime tomorrow on these questions. I took the Fireview over to my brother's this evening and helped him get it in his basement and I'm whipped.

Geez, I'm still trying to figure out how I missed this yesterday, since I was waiting for you to post after the trip.
Anyway, this is the type of reporting that gives us all a GREAT overview of a new stove.
Pic are nice, but vids almost make it seem like I'm there.
I for one, really appreciate this Brian. I think I'd be tempted to get a stove pipe reducer on my own just to fire up that thing.
Still not a fan of the styling, but I am looking forward to hearing how it runs and heats.
Keep the good info coming, but don't wear yourself out.....we need the reports.

I think the styling can be fix by getting one in a single color, traditional flat black. I think the dual-tone, light color really makes it look busy. So, a single color flat black would calm things down.

Also, since the leg panels are removable, I think having leg panels that are more typical looking would be helpful. Like I said before, the core of the stove is a pretty nice looking steel stove. There is just a lot going on around it, though.

Hey Brian can we get exact dimensions of this stove length, width and the range of adjustable height? Another one I am particularly interested in is the length from mid-flue collar to the front of the stove. Thanks!! Oh BTW beautiful design and colors man!! Hope they let you keep it (you never know)

Just talked to Jamie at Woodstock. They are sending out the 8" to 6" reducer so hopefully by mid week we'll have our stove up and running. And I'll post with at least "27 8×10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us."

Ah, okay, so they bolt onto the sides and can adjusted for height to a certain extent. Cool.

    I agree, BBar......
I think it would also look fantastic with some nickel plated (not chrome, NICKEL) parts, perhaps the decorative 'trivets' and maybe the legs and door frame, etc.....

Either way, that is ONE BIG STOVE and coming from Woodstock, I'm sure it'll be a kick-azz heater.......

I want to see it in all black. If they can get this thing out the door for $1500-$2000 and give me 20 hours of usable heat, I'm in. I'll take two. $3,000+ for the Ashford, just don't know if I can justify the additional $2000+ it would cost.

It would be nice to swap out all three stoves for the Ashford, but that is a big chunk of change and the 30 isn't doing anything wrong. I am just trying to increase my convenience.

You've got a GREAT house for some big heaters, that's for sure BBAR.....I'm thinking an "all black" version of that stove would look pretty good in that hearth of yours!

A very mechanical looking stove! I like it... Does the door latch plate on the side have slotted holes for adjustment of the door gasket tension, or is it shadows I'm seeing on the plate?

You mean my avatar? Nah, that's just s stock pic from online. The walk-in fireplace holds the Big Ugly, also known as the 30NC.

If I did two Union stoves I would have 10 cu ft of fire boxes, or 1 cu foot of fire box for every 215 sq ft for this house.

I remember seeing pics of that huge hearth of yours (think it was the add-on part of your house?), I love your home, brother.
We will have to see some more pics in a dedicated "home" thread sometime soon. Your place is one of my favorites, that's for sure. But I'm sure all that antique stone is hard to keep warm....

I am very impressed that Woodstock designed this stove so the top comes off to service the cat... don't you just love that they kept that design in their stoves? Even my PH takes 5 minutes to service the cat.. Not one wrench needed.. That should be one nice burning stove... Bet you'll have low wood usage once you get to know the stove..
