Cleaned up pretty nice with a quick wipe down. It fires on prime, will need a new fuel line from the carb to the tank to be a runner.

This one is a runner as well, fired right up on prime but is missing the fuel line.

The 4900 that I am keeping is 77 cc and the big Pioneer probably is as are the 2 chop saws. The Homelite 410 is close at 68 cc's.

That is so cool. Takes alot of work to de-grime them but it looks rewarding!

The Homelite 410 cleaned up okay, but is missing some paint on the rear handle and clutch cover. Inside it was a lot cleaner than the outside would indicate.

I found a bunch of small issues, loose screws, unhooked throttle linkage, fuel lines pulled off the carb, etc. It ran on prime but didn't want to pull fuel.

It appears that saw is a Farmsaw II SHW (S = safety chainbrake, H = half wrap handle, W = Western). The Western feature apparently featured a 3 shoe steel clutch and floating rim sprocket). Seems this may be a rather uncommon saw.

Next up is the Homelite 360. Was dirty like the others...

The good news is that it has 170 pounds of compression.

    Cleaned it up a bit:

It fired up and pulled fuel but there was no throttle response. I pushed the choke off and it raced, choke on and it idled back. Shut it off and found the throttle is stuck wide open, apparently there is an issue with the spring. I can pull the throttle down but when I squeeze it there is no return.

    My luck ran out...

Put the gauge on the Pioneer Farmsaw II and it didn't quite make it to 110. I think I will try the Pioneer P-28 next.

If its like my farmsaw... It may have an auto decomp under the recoil. Maybe why the comp is a hair low ?

Could be, no manual decomp but I know I have a P-25 with "Easy Arc" starting. Maybe I will fuel it and see what happens.

Dribbled fuel in the carb and it runs. Looks like Josh called it, appears the fuel lines are rotted as I do not see one in the tank.

The P-28 S runs on prime but needs some help... The chain was off the bar and when I took off the clutch cover I found no rim or clutch drum... The muffler is also loose and missing the two screws at the exhaust port. On the bright side the AF cover is intact and in 1 piece, which is unusual. This one will be listed shortly for sale.
