Instead of cropping, try reducing the size of the picture instead. If on a computer, I reduce the size to 65%. I am unsure how or if that can be done on a phone though.
I couldn't find it at first. On my Samsung, there is one more step: Click the pencil at the bottom, click on the 3 elipses at top, then Resize shows up.
Yesterday and today I saw both a male goldfinch and cardinal on the feeder at once. I've posted pictures of this in the past when I was able to get pics. Usually it lasts for a few seconds and by the time I get the camera one or the other is gone.
Never have seen a mockingbird at our feeder. Its my understanding they are insect eaters. Fond memories of hearing and watching them sing as I worked on the roof in an urban neighborhood, usually perched atop a tree or utility pole.
That is correct buZZsaw BRAD Northern Mockingbirds are not typically feeder birds. Their usual diet is insects as well as small fruits and berries. I believe this young bird was born here this spring and like his parents he patrols the yard and is involved in all activities around my house.
This bird showed up at the feeder this morning, I'm not for sure what kind of bird it is? Maybe a female or a juvenile cowbird? I am unable to find photos with the black coloring at the base of its wing like this bird has. IDK
Theyve been doing that to our HB feeder for years. Rose breasted grossbeaks too. The new HB feeder has nsect and supposedly bird proof openings but they somehow can get the nectar. HB's are around but not seen as much as we'd like.
