Soon you wont be as focused on hoarding. ;) Sorry for the bad pun, but couldn't resist. :)

    Nice little grab!

A huge thank you to buZZsaw BRAD for the heads up on this one. Black locust cut right down the street from me that I was able to hit up on my way home this evening. There’s still a bunch of larger diameter rounds there but I doubt they’ll stay put long enough for me to get them before someone else does. I hit my bump stops a few times before pulling into my driveway, so I already got my money’s worth

Not bad for not having a saw with me. Another hoarder showed up as I was getting my gloves on so we split the good stuff between us.

This is 800 feet from where you got this locust back in 2020.
Just a touch more of the good stuff.

Well they tossed me off Facebook finally. For no good reason I might add but they’ve been after me ever since I became admin of an uncensored page. Took a long hiatus, did miss the marketplace tho.
A little political corruption popped up in my town and I just had to get back on LOL. Had to use burner phones paid with cash, taped over cameras, Faraday bags to store them and WiFi from McDonalds.
Back on using my own WiFi as Solomon Grundy ;) That’s another long story I don’t quite understand.

There’s at least a full truckload of BL rounds etc up in Simsbury if you’re interested. Long drive.

Small world. That score was just off the back of a parking lot. Yours was in a parking lot. Not the same lot is it?

Not the same lot but one block away. If not for a tall building obstructing the view, you could see the other lot from where I got this locust.

I feel like I am out in the wilderness without any hoarder neighbors. Not exactly a bad thing because it reduces competition , but it still hurts!

I had lined up A FBM score of BL in Longmeadow Mass, but just didn't have the time to go get it. Big logs too.

There's some fresh cut stuff near where I've cut some in the past, just a PITA to retrieve it. Its kinda roadside and track side with lots of tripping hazards. Im getting too old for tripping hazards.

    Solomon Grundy,
    Born on a Monday,
    Christened on Tuesday,
    Married on Wednesday,
    Took ill on Thursday,
    Grew worse on Friday,
    Died on Saturday,
    Buried on Sunday.
That was the end of Solomon Grundy.

I never heard of Solomon Grundy before. I thought you guys were referring to some rhyme that was inappropriate for the forum (like the man from Nantucket… )
