Well, I guess a single lady is probably better than a double or triple lady. :smoke:

The lady in Kingston Spring’s property that I am currently cutting on paid a tree service company $300 a tree to just cut and drop. I told her at the start of my cutting that I won’t cut anything that could touch her house or power lines. Have bagged over 6k so far and a lot more to go. Have run into a lot of nails though. Thinking from deer stands put up decades ago. Got my first tick at her place Friday

IMG_1440.jpeg Have bought 1&1/3 cords of awesome cherry from a poster on CL the last 10 days. He is about 50 miles from my place, but only 5 miles from my delivery path to Nashville. His face cords measured 8&1/2’ L by 4&1-2’ high. And his perfect splits were 18” long. After another two months of seasoning, I’ll bag 5 X more.

    Two months of seasoning? :picard:

He must have had a good start on the seasoning?

Do you ever fresh split a few chunks and check the MC?

Only sell firewood 15% and below. $285 a face cord means you are providing the good stuff.

I don’t go by time on anything, all by the meter on splitting open a few sticks in a pallet. $250k in three years. Think I might have a few satisfied customers?

    15% MC is great.

Regarding post #1203 about the perfect cherry you bought, I was wondering how it would be ready "After two months of seasoning...."

Good thing I have about nine months of seasoned cherry available on top of what I purchased. Cherry I purchased was cut, split and stacked about four months ago. Nothing leaves my Woodyard above 15% moisture. 125 ricks sold YTD.

Absolutely crushing firewood deliveries the past few weeks. Smoking and outdoor burning in middle TN is a big thing in Spring time.

I pulled out my tape measure and moisture meter when I arrived at the sellers property. I know how to sell and purchase firewood. Would love to learn more about selling firewood from those that average over $305 a face cord with tips.

    Yes EODDiver we know....:picard:

I still find the prices you charge and what people pay to be an anomaly.

    Can't understand how or why it's fetches near $1K a cord-on average.

Very true but I'd be happy as a pig in poo if I could find that niche around here.

    :handshake:

Yup. But prices are high enough on everything as it is, no?

There are other threads on FHC where sellers on craiglist/facebook ask exorbitant prices for wood. People just shake their heads in disbelief.

I wonder why no one has been underselling the OP?

I wager there are many with sh!t for product. Just like just about everywhere else.

:handshake: Dang right. I'd work my tail off and sell as much as I could.

I could give you dozens of reasons why I bank what I do selling firewood. I am not a popular guy on this site because of my success. It is for you guys to figure out why I sell for 3X more than the many other sellers in my region and the country. If you knew me personally, my work ethic and background, it might not be such a mystery. I readily admit to taking advantage of the misfit firewood sellers of my state and country.

Don't worry about helping people when you get to the top. Just keep pushing them down with your boots. Everyone should just bow down.

Wrong, nobody here is going to dislike someone just because they are a successful firewood seller...at least nobody I've met, which has been quite a few.

So you're saying there must be another reason some people don't like him???
