Swapped dad turntables for fathers day gift. I’m spinning his old one and  . I think it sounds better than my Technics!
First spin was a record I will always remember him from. John Hartford's Mark Twang.

Then the last one I played on the B&O.

Went to a record show with my friend Mike, my wife and son. Scored some good records!

I’m a big Rush fan. Top 5 all time favorite bands.

My son bought 3. 5 Finger Death Punch, Deftones and Limp Bizkit.
This is just translucent red, my felt slip mat is yellow/black with that pattern.

Wife picked this one at the show. It sounds awesome. Finally listened last night.

And bought a couple more yesterday.

Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s my fav album from the band. Pretty cool colors.

Had to break this one out too. My best sounding record. It gives goosebumps.

It got good recognition but I feel this album is still under rated. Unique sound, clever lyrics, good vibes.

Have never called myself a fan of Carlos Santana. Yep, stellar guitar player. Radio ruined it for me because they needed to play his songs 3 times an hour, every hour. This one however...pure bliss.

Mostly referred to it as the brown boat, but pronounced it as brom.

My hometown (population #2,384) radio station is putting on their yearly free concert tomorrow. Supposed to be close to 90 so it’s gonna be a hot one under the tent!

I recently replaced my 10 year old Mac so looking for advice. For those of you (all of you?) what streaming platform do you use and is it KISS compliant (Keep It Simple Stupid=me). I've never done streaming, know that many people use it for tv and music but that's my total knowledge. Special equipment? Is there a such thing as a radio that can stream (know the computer can do it). Talk to me like a 5 year old, although they'd probably know more than me on that topic.

It's been great going back on this thread and finally hearing what's being played/listened to. Thanks all!

Do you want to stream from your phone (to the Hi-Fi)?
If so, there’s a free app called Pandora. I used it for a while before starting Amazon Music for $6 a month. The commercials get annoying on the free ones.

I’m listening to the sound of the AC in the window. It’s nasty out so camped inside.
