I started that saw earlier in the day and it had all the compression. SCHallenger had one made custom to start his larger saws. A guy from New Zealand made the original one here’s the video

I have a 40 inch ( I know oddball) on my 394 and it oil well

The 20" would whip majority of the trees around here. The 25" should cover >99.9% of the rest.

 

Yes mostly 20" On the bigger CC saws too. 462, 460 & 500i. If I need to use the 25: bar it will go on them. The 400 did come with a Tsumura 25" bar.

Don't you need a 70cc saw and 28" bar to cut stuff like that?

 

When I was younger and dumber I'd'a used the 3120 with 36" bar.....

Now that I'm older and (outta be smarter) I usually opt for a 40cc w/ 18" or sometimes even the ported 2511p w/16"
