$100 cord was normal price around here for logs two years ago today. I think it's about $120 now

Ask them to go heavy on the Doug Fir and you’ll be better off. Either way unless you know someone, 100 a cord about normal around here.

A single 18 cord load is a huge load for any truck so if one truck pulls up give it a good going over before letting them unload it and you’re stuck. There is a log length cord calculator here on Hoarders, use it once you see the load. Firewood & Cord Calcuations

100.00/ cord delivered? I would do that. Like it was said, the time saved scrounging is worth it IMO. The 18 cords would be about 4 years burning for me. $450.00 to heat my house for a year is hard to pass up.

Here in NH I pay 100$ a cord for log length mixed hardwood.

What does pondo go for per cord in your area when it all split up for you already?

I’m not sure what a cord of Ponderosa mix goes for in Bellevue. As wildwest says, I am a few hours south of Joe’s Wood. But here a cord of dry, split local firewood is going for about $300 - which is INSANE to me.

Up here if you know a logger it’s $120/cord for mixed hardwood, straight poles, and nothing oversized for firewood processors. Cold calls get the $150/cord or higher prices.
I got a 12 cord load from the logger who cut my property of big oak, ash, and maple that wouldn’t go for firewood or logs due to bends and crotches for $700. They were working a couple towns over, had a pile of logs the log buyer didn’t want and wanted room on the landing, they knew I had easy access and equipment to deal with the logs so I lucked out, and he didn’t loose money.

i don’t think you’ll get anywhere near 18 cords from 1.5 of those. It takes a lot of logs to make a lot of firewood. To be fair, it’s hard for the logger to estimate cordage as well.

I’m paying 150$ a cord for Doug for logs. 40’ long delivered. So if 100$ was real, great price!

Nah, I’m only expecting 10 cord out of the two side dump loads. And that’s just basing it off calculated volume from a 102” diameter tub 36’ long divided in half.
