Planning to start on an "emergency" oak order today.....(how in the world do you have a lumber emergency???.... ) idk, but the guy says he's gotta have it by Monday...

Not enough probably.
He's a guy is really nice guy & my kind of person, so I was nice back.... this time...

 

Morning all Foggy this morning with the forecast of sunshine later. It was a warm one yesterday. Last day of work for the week. Weekend will be a little different. All the communities of this end of Vancouver Island will have no electricity for most of Sunday. campinspecter said I could have my own generator for the sewing machine and iron that day. I hope I get my project almost finished.

We did get most of the big yard cut after work yesterday, we have a little trimming to do this evening.

Morning all. Fog and overcast are starting to dissipate so I think it will be a sunny gorgeous day here in Paradise. Fog and overcast didn't lift at all yesterday. Perfect day for the concrete driveway pour yesterday at the neighbours' house.

How often do we have a word of praise to God on our lips or in our hearts throughout the day? I find it easy to get caught up in the work I am doing or the situation I am in and forget to keep it in mind. Having a song of praise in my mind really helps me. Take time today to think of your favourite song of praise and lift the words up to heaven.

Praise the Lord. Psalm 148

1 Praise the Lord from the heavens; raise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for at his command they were created,

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 67°, heading to 75, windy. Another day of 7AM-7PM shift. We got the trimming done on the big yard we cut, then I split a few rounds of oak into the shed. Hope to split more this evening.
Chvymn99 have a safe trip home and back. Enjoy the time with family.
MikeInMa glad y'all can take mom and dad out for a nice meal. That will be special for them.

When I posted pics of the trees we cut on this job on some of my FB pages, that's all I heard, should have made lumber from those...we don't have a demand for lumber with our firewood business...Our biggest logging job yet.
