Sweet, that just means enlarging the existing port and adding another one.

Consider myself a bit of a maker(thanks for the skills dad, grandpa) so the dare to do, isn't so much a dare, but more Edmund Hillary "because it was there"

So I spent 30 min of quality time with the Chain and a file, Grabbed the dremel and a grinding bit and ground down the safety tabs a bit and :bug:HOLY CHIT!!! :bug:This saw runs like a raped ape!

I haven't even ported the muffler, so Have that to do, can only guess it will get better.

I have settled on a 18" bar with a full chisel chain. Searching the net for a deal. Until then I have the little 306a for smaller stuff and the 395 for everything else. Still planning on a skip tooth chain for the 24" bar, but Ill prob run with the safety for a while looking for a good deal.

Does that take a large or small mount bar?

I did they do, but a buddy called and said he has a couple of bars, 18 & 20, and a half a dozen chains for free, when he bought a new saw it had the larger bar mount. Yahoo, all I have to do is help take down a small maple in his yard... the horror.

Haha, I was referring to insulating fire brick vs regular and a refractory coating, quicker secondaries at lower primary air settings.
