The wood darkens quite a bit. Spent a lot of years trying to figure out how to keep that beautiful red color. Haven’t figured it out yet Still looks nice tho. My master bath vanity Is all cedar, including the top. With wide board pine floors. I broke all the rules up there LOL
Here's our slap together indoor solution. Whatever carp bits of wood handy. It's temporary till we redo the kitchen. I hope to move the door out of the kitchen add counter space, and wood storage underneath. This rendition holds a 25 hour supply in cold weather.
Needs the FHC logo burned into it! Real nice job. What stain color did you go with? Full of wood yet? Too bad you dont have a picture of the log it come from.
So is ours, minus the vanity top (found a vitreous counter top on clearance at Lowes years ago). Walls, ceiling, linen closet and vanity casework all WRC. Was going to pickle it, but never got around to it- best done to the individual T & G boards before installing IMO. All untreated cedar and it still looks great after 10 years.
