Lost a good sized hickory in storm but didn’t want it to just go to OWB, so gave it to friend that helped me so he can use in his smoke house. 4B1EFE72-FB39-4B66-9804-30B9466683E3.jpeg 2806AF1A-C85B-4603-A646-E7227E99C5EE.jpeg 908CD054-0C4D-4A3F-8C94-42FBF8AEF6B3.jpeg 2806AF1A-C85B-4603-A646-E7227E99C5EE.jpeg

My friend smokes everything. Can’t remember if I shared pictures before of his smokehouse, but she’s a gem

That some nice wood there, I love hickory!

Took this pic yesterday, they're heading in the wrong direction, south! Today there were thousands about a 1/2 mile up, heading west, they're on the move.

I know duck hunters, they would also hunt geese, except they don't like them, and can't give them away..

That is an impressive smoke house!

In the past few years it’s become quite a thing around here to set out decoys & blast the chit out the the geese. I have talked to 8 different people that do it & they all say the same thing in some manner or other : wild goose is best prepared by throwing them in the ditch for wildlife to eat.
