    I was out on the back deck picking up wood to bring inside. All of a sudden, off in the distance I hear a noise I shouldn’t be hearing. It takes me a second to process it and then I’m almost in panic mode. OMFG that’s a large caliber belt fed weapon going off. In my mind’s eye I can see a helicopter just about cresting over the hilltop, gun barrel glowing red hot in the night sky. All of a sudden I hear the guy a couple houses down cough. Turns out all I was hearing was the sound of him bringing his empty trash can in from the street. Time to stop watching all this Ukraine conflict footage :picard:

    This was a fun place to check out with my kids a few years ago. The Nautilus museum next to the submarine base in Groton Connecticut. Submarine capital of the world :yes:
    I’m pretty sure WeldrDave has stood here at one point in time.

    My wife has been gone for 2 weeks, on a girls trip to Florida, and will be home tomorrow night. I'm sitting here, drinking a beer, listening to music, being mellow and happy, then I start looking around and realize a "bachelor" has been living here. :bug: That was my OMG moment, this place needs to be cleaned, before my wife gets home tomorrow night!
