We were loading the trailer, on the last stack my hunny found a black snake in there. Guess who finished loading the trailer...
I found a shed skin in one of our barrels of chunks earlier this year, another black snake.

Well, just “Moving North “ might not solve that issue

This is at the Rest Area North/West of Yakima, WA on I-82. Central and Eastern Oregon and Washington have got Rattlesnakes. The Western, Wetter side of the States are pretty free of Venomous Snakes, but both states do have them

Found this between my house and processing area this year. I’m happy not to have found all of it and alive. It’s a good reminder. I paid a lot more attention to where I go after.

    Said with Australian accent:
This is a woild black snake
    Biggest snakes of the area.
It has rows of pointy teeth
And the attitude to go with them.
    And I'm gonna kiss it....

I tried to post these pictures last night, but wouldn't load...
This is a cottonmouth moccasin on the road to work, near a swamp. Looks like it had been eating well. 0803211207.jpg

My son went to college at UW Lacrosse. Lived in Wisconsin all my life and that was the first time I found out that we had rattlesnakes.

You're the wildlife expert....snakes wise. While i wont be doing any snake kissing, I'm not picking them up like you do.

Was just a good pic Brad!

Good to see them immobilized. In Ct it’s against the law to kill a rattlesnake. I have no further comments on the subject ;)

Rattlesnakes are somewhat common along the bluffs of the Mississippi River.
