Still need to mod the bar oiler , get an 8T rim , muffler mod ,and E3 spark plug ... probably gonna keep the 395 ,and 661 on the shelf feeling neglected .
That straight main stem in 2nd pic looks to be at least 9 feet long.I couldnt bring myself to buck it into firewood,if its sound throughout would be great running it through a bandsaw mill.Some stunning planks for table/counter tops,similar projects.
Anything I can get posts out of I will, 8’ for line posts 9’ for braces 10’ for corners Anything else will most likely be firewood.
Best wood for posts,period.My paternal granddad set hedge posts on his 160 acre NW Missouri farm in the 30's.He passed away in 1972,the property changed owners at least twice that I know of since then.But those posts are still doing their job I imagine.
