    Wish you were closer. I made a crockpot full of venison chili over night. We are just relaxing with the family and the dogs on a cloudy, cool, fall day. Company would be welcome. Maybe another time.

    We’ve used Morton’s sausage seasoning as far back as I can remember and it’s very good. Only problem is they suddenly stopped making it

    :beerbbq:Looks great! I just made a bunch also but used a commercial mix. It is OK but next time I will use a recipe such as the one you used!

    Here's the recipe I used. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/breakfast-sausage-recipe-2103185 Nothing special. I was lucky enough to have fresh sage and rosemary available, but not necessary.
