Sweet, that’s easy enough. Guess I’m headed to Tractor Supply. The owners manual shows different sizes.

Getting ready to head out to slay an elephant trunk this AM, then head to TSC for firebrick. WOW! England’s is proud of theirs!

Just so you know, if you have bricks that are just cracked, you can repair them with furnace cement...it works great!
Or if they are in a spot where the crack doesn't hurt anything, or is prone to falling out, it's not really worth messing with...

Made some progress yesterday. Got the flue pipe installed and all the firebrick cut/installed.

All the floor brick needed cut to 4” and one shortened.

This pic shows the skinny brick due to TSC ones being 1/2” bigger than oem. I’m happy with it as long as those don’t break frequently.

Had to make another call, I’m missing door pins.

Yeah.. not knowing exactly what I needed, I bought the wrong wheel. It was working but not very good. I was able to score 1/4-3/8 and use a chisel to finish. Realizing there had to be a better way, I called my daughter who was already in town and had her pick up this:
    91589528-2FDD-4304-852C-9FE29DEB4567.jpeg

It cut right through like buddah!

Well, my new door pins came in the mail today. So I finished off the plumbing and fired one off!

One question I do have, is left closed on the top draft?

I downloaded the manual and not one mention of that draft so I’m unsure I have the proper document.

I just went down with a flashlight to see if I could peek in there to see and sure enough, I could. Right is closed. As I adjust it, that darn adjuster piece breaks right off! The spot weld failed. At least I can use a small screwdriver till I get it fixed.

How did the load of Oak work out? Heat output, burn time etc. Fill us in as you get it figured out.

About 6am and there was one small ember about the size of a lemon. Firebox was not packed tight, bottom draft completely closed and top was cracked just a bit. The temp in our main living level is 75. Outside is right at freezing temps. Typically by morning in a situation like this, our temps would dip down to high 60's. So far so good, I just need to learn it some more and figure out longer burn times.
One “negative” to this is the fact that I have 4-5 years worth of wood cut at 16-17” and the firebox can take 25”. I'll deal.. One major plus is the fact that our basement won't be 110 degrees, and with the wood stove basically right under our bedroom, we won't have to crack a window as much. :dex:
Weather forecast is for wind chills in the high 20's overnight tonight. Glad I'm up and running.

I'll let one of the owners chime in here, but I seem to recall that the "hot setup" on these is to have the bottom draft knobs open a bit...don't recall what the setting is though.
Better than the reverse...I had 20+ cords cut to 22" for my old Yukon, then I tried out a Kuuma VF200, which takes 16" wood...spent the whole winter cutting 6" off...by spring I was over it...I sold the 200 and bought the larger VF100.

Good test today. I loaded her up full before I left so 7:00. Will see how it looks when I get home at 5:30.

So I’m thoroughly impressed so far. Came home 10+ hours later to this:
    F6EF0A10-B49A-40EA-9028-3E801D1CF368.jpeg
I did crack the bottom door to stoke it a little bit. And the temp in the house.. 78!! Jeebus, if that doesn’t shed some clothing I don’t know what will.
