Thats one tree-branches yet to come-Have never seen an ash that big and it was alive! Butt cut is 8’ and 32” tip to tip, got some crotches to deal with but the huge limbs should be a nice time

Good to hear from you Chaz - I’m always around-this pandemic and my job has been kicking my azz-even though we are entering our 3rd heat wave of 3 days or more of consecutive 90+ days,,,I’m ready to get to some physical work...I hope you and all are well-I’ve worked from home since March 23-managing over 230 employees teleworking is like herding cats...gained the Covid 10 lbs-my intent is to work it off and I’m at it...

Guess I just haven't seen you posting much.

All's good here, been working an off-shift to distance workers.

Yeah.. the heat & humidity seem stupid high this year.

Can't even imagine trying to manage 230 people remotely.
    :hair::hair:

    Best to you and yours
    :handshake:

Is it just me or does that first pic look like some angry beaver at the burl that needs shimmed off? That’s the butt cut...

Great to hear from you again!

Yes, been after a lot of ash myself, unfortunately most of it has been on my own property.

Right now I'm building my wood shed which will hold 15 cords, so that will hold 3+ years worth of wood. Been sweating my butt off doing that.

    Angry beaver Ash.

Sweet! Most folks would love to get ash like that! Sad, but ours is now history.

That log also was trying to make a heart shape.

One of my favorite firewood species. Still some around here worth cutting but also a lot past the point of use.
I did the work from home thing from Mar. 18th until July 6th. Back in the field now but still somewhat limited.

For sure Eric VW - You hate to let gift ash go to waste but this one is near my limit-like I said, the branches should make the sweat equity worth it in the long run-Glad all are doing well in these crazy times Horkn is there a thread on the shed? Can’t wait to see it.

Do you have any idea just how wide you’ve swung the door open for improper comments? Not me tho, nope.
