Any body ever mess around with one of these? Scored this at an auction last night for practically nothing, so I can stand to put a little money into it. What is the little adjustment thing in the bar?

Bar tensioner . Simple saw to work on . What caused the scoring is Likethe impulse tube . PN 530053435 .It’s a little green piece of silicone tubing . tends to crack right next to the intake boot . Cost about $3 .If I get a saw in here with that inlet /impulse set up , I change that tube even if it is not yet cracked .

That’s how I get most of my saws and fund the next purchase.
It’s a break even venture for me.

True. I try to keep it to one at a time. I had an 064 there when I can across this 075AV. Boxed the 064 for now and started in on the 075.

    Cleans up pretty good.

So I checked out my auction 137 this evening. It looks like it can be put Back in service without to much major. Spur sprocket is plum wore out as are most of the drive lugs on the chain & probably put a new bar on while I’m at it. Piston looks pretty fair. Needs a couple AV mounts & a choke pull rod.
But talk about an over engineered muffler!!!!:picard: Not sure I really figured where the exhaust is supposed to exit!
It looks like there’s an aftermarket p/c kit with a larger displacement..... any body know anything about that.
I know these aren’t much for saws, but this will be my first project saw and I figured it is a good place to start learning to make em better

The exhaust exits onto the cylinder heat shield right where it wraps around the muffler on the clutch side . The hole is very tiny ,and it’s hard to believe the saw can run . As to AM cylinders , try hlsproparts.com , or sawsalvage.com . I’ve had good luck ,and great service from both .

Thanks, I seen the one at HLSupply, probably the way I’ll go. Could you tell a difference between it and stock?

The ones I have used were from Stihl saws . And , they were saws that I never ran before. So, I could not give you a comparison . The saws did ,however run well . The owners have been running the for a good while without complaint . I will say this , use OEM ,or meteor piston wrist pin circlips . And oem impulse boot .
