I picked up a 4.5 beef short rib rack while i was at the butcher today. I've never smoked one before so aside from googling some recipes, anyone have a go to smoked short rib recipe? Thanks!
I might just try it like that. Nice and simple. I'll hit it with salt, pepper and garlic powder and smoke it for 4-5hrs at 225°. Looks like I'm shooting for an IT of 200°. I'm also gonna make up a beef broth mix to spritz it throughout the smoke (a lot of recipe's i found say to spritz it) Stay tuned
Final product. Turned out really good but definitely gotta tone it down on the salt next time. Got a killer smoke ring with the oak pellets from bear mountain pellets.
