Found a cheap one so I picked it up. Brinkmann offset stick burner. Needs new grates. And I ended up putting 3 firebrick in the firebox. $60. About to sit down to my first meal. Ribs and chicken smoked with cherry.
I know mine is! Nice score! I plan on doing some ribs and chicken quarters tomorrow. Here's a simple BBQ sauce if you're interested. I kind of came up with it myself with stuff that I had in my fridge. I am sure there's a recipe out there similar to this. Some good Amish apple butter with no preservatives. Heinz ketchup Lea Perrins Worcestershire sauce La Choy soy sauce Welch's grape juice. No measurements I just mixed it all to taste. I did mix more apple butter and ketchup as the majority of the mixture. I made mine a little more runny so it gets in all the cracks and crevices and it's easier to sop up with some good bread! It's also good on wings too. If you mix some up let me know how you like it.
Those look great! I'm full from sweet Italian sausages, air fryer tater tots and beans for an easy but good dinner after all day on the lake.
Mmmm. Sweet Italian sausage! Sounds good. The ribs were less than stellar. First try on the new smoker, I'll chalk it up to that. I think they needed more time in foil, and more heat while in it. Many more try's in my future.
They are both gooder. Italians are better on a bun though. Summer is synonymous with meat on a bun. Is it summer yet? It sure felt like it today
X2...can't hardly get the family to eat regular sausage now...about have to put the ones left under lock and key...
Going to have to seek out this apple sausage. Im eager to use this smoker again. Been looking for new racks. Don’t want to drop the coin for cast iron in case I step up to a better unit. What to do...
The apple sausage is in your state. How far is it to Altoona from you? Meat market there called Roll's...here is the link... Home Sadly, they don't ship.
What rear tires did you put on your horse ? Look pretty impressive to me and I'm about ready to replace a few.
