All's good here. Winter is coming back this week so we'll need a few more fires. Been burning some HHO in between warm spells...
Was out dragging logs today. Fun fun!

Disrespect? Naw, didn't even enter my mind.

I used to drink lots of beer. Lots and lots and lots of beer. I just don't anymore. Every summer, I tell 99 lbs that I'm gonna have a beer this summer and every fall, I look back and realize that I didn't!

"No big no deal" as a little one used to say.

Nice black cherry you've got there. I have a little on hand myself, stacked up with some apple wood. I'm just waiting for that Christmas party to fire it up.

We're getting along fine here. Wife is making masks for friends and family since many places are requiring you have one on to get in. I've got my saw running good again and moving wood around and getting next season's wood that is already dry into the woodshed so it's ready for next season. I've got a ton to CSS over in the one pasture. While planting the walnuts I cleared paths down to a couple White Oaks by the creek that have been down for years and the heartwood is begging me to put it in the woodshed or the straight pieces on the sawmill. There should be some good quartersawn pieces buried in there waiting to see daylight.

We're still burning small fires here to keep the chill off and after filling the basement woodracks today, I grabbed a beer out of the "beverage" fridge and noticed there's only 5 brewskis left... :hair: :startled:  Time for a B, double E, double R, U, N...

They used to reach under the counter at the drive thru if you came in with a mask on... now they won't serve you if you don't have one on... :picard:

Yep Horkn, we do alcohol runs at the same time to cut down on trips/risk-This thing is getting nasty again all over and I know WI is not peaking yet-We have it mild if you can call it that-just over 1000 cases and 51 fatalities in a state of just 1.8M but even 1 life is one too many.

Life as we knew it will never return, take care and Godspeed.

Hard to say whether we've peaked here in Wisconsin, but I'd say that it probably has peaked based on numbers of cases, and percentages based on number of tests. Right now we are on a downward percentage of tests since May 1. ( Knocks on wood)

Milwaukee county has 204 of the 340 deaths, and almost 3500 of the 8236 cases in the state. Brown county, where Green Bay is, 100 miles north of Milwaukee cty wasn't even a blip on the screen as far as CV goes a couple weeks ago, now they have almost 1700 cases.

There's about 6 million people in Wisconsin.

IDK. I'm sick of this, but I've got a puppy to pick up in one week, 4wheelers to fix, a garden to get tilled, wood to split and haul, and some other stuff to do to keep me occupied.

Wow, you guys in Wisconsin are where we in Connecticut were at a couple weeks ago with confirmed cases. Now we're up to 30k confirmed and over 2500 deaths. Of course it doesn't help living within an hour of NYC which is the epicenter of the whole country, even the world for that matter. I'm one of the fortunate (unfortunate?) ones that falls under that essential worker category, so I've been working the whole time. I wish I'd get a furlough for a couple weeks so I could finish building my chicken coop and prepping the spot for my cheapo 14' swimming pool.

I know-its the 2nd and 3rd wave that is so discerning right now, and its appearing to happen in states that rush to get back-Darned if you do or dont, our economy is tanked and so many won’t recover. Our infection rate is right at 2%, among top 3 best in the US but I worry about people getting too comfortable too quick-Our governor, my boss and the CV Czar have done a great job but the unknowns are what is so scary, like what is happening in NY now with all the child hospitalizations-Yes we are a small state but are within a 4 hour drive of 45% of the countries population

On a good note-What kind of puppy bud? I so love them, my renters next door have a new one, I just have the log dog Speck, a rescue, but I raised boxers for 25 yrs...I want another one but my work circumstances changed after 15 yrs and I can’t with clear conscience leave a puppy in a crate, although the largest made, 10 hours a day so I’m forced to wait awhile...I really want to explore Border Collies and/or Australian Sheppards but at the same time, Boxers will always have my heart
