For my Husqvarna 350 The one I have I beliebe to be bad Internaly. Even a known good rebuildable would be fine. Thanks all...
Hey big frank those saws had a lot of carb changes the hda196 has been changed up several times if you give me serial # of your saw i can change the number up for you and i can get a new one if you want JBsawman
Thanks JB. I'll get the number and see what's up. Don't want to really buy a new one carb to put on this saw. Was hoping to find a good used one, but still may be able to do that if I know what the upgraded carb is. Thanks!
Here is the plate. One of the numbers isnt visible but in think you might be able to make it work. I think a new OEM carb is going to be a bit spendy to put on this saw. It's a fixer to flip but you xan.give me a price anyway. I know the aftermarket are hit and miss. Never used them on a 2 stroke but I know the 4 stroke carbs I have tried a couple of times didn't work that great.
You said there might be upgrades to that carb. Any model n UK numbers? Thanks again... Thanks JB, I'll check it out. Imwasmthinking that carb had a primer bulb, but if it is setup for on, I guess I could cap off that circuit?
I now see they make them both ways. At $16, I guess I can give it a try. I got it on @Amazon, so if it doesn't work right, I can send it back. Thanks again!
Good luck big frank it would have cost more to send you a used one and a rebuild kit seems crazy you can buy a new one for that glad I could help JB
I know the aftermarket carbs can be hit or miss, but i guess it's worth a try. At least I can tune it with a tach and it's easier to tell if it's rich or lean on a 2 stroke. Thanks again for the help.
