It’s about 90 some seconds it will do the start up feed. Then it lights and never continues to feed pellets. The flame goes out.

I noticed in the pic of the terminal block that the one screw was back out a bit. Did you happen to pull that block out from the housing?

Make sure the vacuum switch is working.

Also once the stove gets a bit of heat in it one of the lights on the control box should change color...

Sometimes the wire just needs to be pushed forward into the ceramic tube ?

try one hit on the reset button also that will give you additional pellets at start up.

I gave that a shot. On the first start up it makes a nice fire. Then like I said before it won’t start feeding it. It will slowly go out and that’s it.

Maybe I have a bad thermo c. It’s brand new and I was careful not to bend it to much but that could be what’s wrong.

It's possible.....here's instructions from Mountain View on how to test the TC....hopefully you're handy with a multi meter or know someone who is, it's very straight forward.

The simplest way to test a thermocouple is to check how much voltage it produces. To complete this test, you will need a digital meter that can measure millivolts (mV) of DC electricity and a lighter. Remember to unplug the stove from the wall before disconnecting any wires.

Note: If you feel like taking your test to the expert level, you can make an adapter wire with spade connectors. This adapter will allow you to measure voltage with the thermocouple still connected to the control box. This allows you to check that the red & green lights on the control box are turning on at the appropriate millivolt signal from the thermocouple. The green light turns on at about 2.7 mV (+.5mV); the red light turns on at about 12.0 mV (+ 1mV).

    1. Set the meter to read about 30 mV of DC power and connect the probes of your meter to both ends of the thermocouple wire.
    2. Apply heat to the thermocouple tip in the firepot. The thermocouple should produce between 12-30 mV as it heats up.
The thermocouple should be replaced if it produces less than 12 mV. If the correct voltage is present, check for a loose connection between the wiring harness and the thermocouple. The control box may need to be replaced.

The other thing as Snowy mentioned above is to jump the vacuum switch (just for testing) and also the #2 snap disk just to get them out of the loop. Basically, you'll be tying the wires together...MAKE SURE STOVE IS UNPLUGGED BEFORE DOING THIS...your're working with 120 volts and make sure the jumper ends don't touch any metal.

Snap disk #2 are the yellow wires....disregard the arrows pointing to the purple wires.

Here's a vid on a jumper wire...different stove same principle:

As mentioned earlier...when the TC senses heat there should be a green light on the control box that is lit once the TC reaches 200 F

If this is not happening then either the TC is not doings it's job or the box is Bad.

I will mess with it tonight. The old box does the same thing as the new box I purchased. I’m going to try all the suggestions and see what happens if I get some free time tonight.

Well fellas! The new thermocouple I purchased must be junk! I took the old tc and cleaned it up really well and resoldered the end and threw that back in for chits and giggles and she is working.

That's great!!! Did you test the new thermo to see if it produces any voltage when heated up?

No I didn’t. I don’t have a multimeter to test it. I will be purchasing one.
