    We have loblolly and shortleaf pine, I have never noticed sapwood on them. Curious.

    Congrats again, BZB, those plaques are awesome and the shirt is apropos!

    metalcuttr What kind of machine do you use to make those signs? I just got a CNC machine in school. I have not used it yet but I can't wait.

    It's got to be there...may not be noticable but its there. Big rounds of EWP around here have what looks like 2 to 3 inches of it

    Let the pine sit in the rounds for a good season, up to one year, and it splits fine. Green, forget it.

    Thanks. The only other time i got an award was a 14k gold statue. The guy who presented it was mad as i had it bronzed in his honor!:doh:
