Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Last day of work for me till next Thursday, woo hoo.
Woke up about 4:30 this morning to a loud beeping, I told my hunny it was probably the low battery alarm on our big upright freezer...I wish...it was the temp alarm, we keep it set at -1 and it was up to 25°...... Fan was running but no compressor...:headbang:...we have had it 12 yrs, so no warranty...:(...my hunny is going to Lowe's to get one this morning before the rain starts... :emptywallet:...my cuzn and a mutual friend of ours are going to help her...:handshake:... since I'm working again today.
Glad it didn't go out while we were gone this coming weekend...

Good morning everyone! Temps are on the rise again, it may get to 40°. Kinda gray though. I'll stack what I split yesterday, then split the rest of it, before it thaws out on the inside. IMG_20191113_35950.jpg
I really think it split easier frozen, especially the knots.
Maybe my saw will be fixed, hoping to get a call. Other errands to do as well. And I have to bring more wood in, it just melted away the last couple of days.
    Have a good one all.

It's got a funny problem where it dies when cutting horizontally after about 30 seconds.

    I’m here
Been traveling a lot this fall. Actually thought about which FHC members I might be close to.
Last week in Maryland at Peach Bottom Nuclear.
Earlier this week at Conowingo Dam.
Both pretty close to each other. Lovely country

    Good morning.

Forecast is for a cold, but comfortable day for making firewood. So, I expect to be heading back to my SIL'so to scrounge in her woods. I know there's some dead red oak there to be easily gathered. I saw some already on the ground that I hope isn't too far gone. I'll probably drop another tree or three.

    Enjoy your Friday!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. On my days off now, got a couple errands to run this morning, then we are going over to Alabama to visit friends for a few days. Taking a load of wood too, for my friend that his wife was hurt in the freak accident, tree limb came through her windshield and hit her.
    Rainy day here in Dixie.
Share a smile, lend a hand.
