Pelpro, GlowBoy, cheap Charlie - New Accutron IV control panel smoked when powered up!

    You can see the Land on the back of the control panel that burned, it goes to the bottom Triac and also goes to pin 9 on the Molex connector that the wire harness is plugged into! Pin 9 is attached to the red wire which is connected to the stove's Igniter! So it looks like a shorted blown Igniter smoke the board.

    An inline 4 amp fuse may help to prevent this? Any comments?

    A new igniter should be installed before connected another new board!!

    Also recommend the stove be plugged into a good surge protector and the house outlet is 3 prong with the ground going back to the circuit box.
