Anyone here have any experience with one? I picked one up for $300 and needed a very deep clean. After giving it the once over, cleaning, lubing, and making sure all was right? I fired it up.

For 10 minutes, all is good. Them after 10 minutes, the initial charge of fuel is spent and it's stays in low? Whether it's on heat level 1-6...??

    I checked The usual suspects.
The jumper on the stat connection, fusses, other connections, etc.

    Thanks

Cool stove dex, You stole that puppy! I always wanted one. You can hook up a laptop to it and program just about anything on it. Should tell you the faults as well.

Logic cable is pretty cheap too.

I found the cable (thanks for the tip), but does it need software?

Slvrblkk, the stove ran for over 45 min, both times and once the initial charge burnt down, it stayed at idle? Regardless of what I did. Thanks for the manual.

Yes, Need software. I'm not sure where you can download it these days. Used to be available from bixby's site. They also had firmware upgrades too. Bixby quite making the stoves IIRC. I'll se if I can post some links?

Your description of the problem tells me the thermo sensor wire either fell off the board or is not connected good enough. It is supposed to sense exh temp change and tell the board you have heat then it will keep running. But if its not connected to the board it will start and stop after about 10 minutes. Look at the large board upper right corner there should be a white connection and the stiff brown wire with a flag is supposed to be connected there. Wiggle it and it will fall off or move the stove and it will come off.
There is a fitting on the smaller board that will fit but don't connect it there as it is wrong.

    Hello Rona,
I am having problems with my Maxfire 115. it fires up from a cold start then after reaching what would be operating temperature it cycles and does an ash dump and then repeats the prccess....as if it is not seeing that it is fire engaged.
May I ask you to assist me.
Can I secure a copy of the software (I have a Maxfire 115), manual for Bixchek, and the manaul for the 115?
    Please let me know.

    Thank you very much.
    George (Alexismyboy).
