I know , I still have the Crete's we split and the Ptl softies from several years ago , when I get close something goes on sale or we find a C list deal and they get buried again

 

I hope we find many more deals!!!

 

No sarcasm Kevin , it may have been 2 - 3 weeks of slack , I really don't know , but I never have to run my stoves hard always on low fan and usually 3-4 on stove temp mode , which prolly causes a more rapid speed bump build up.

Steve, I noticed HD here in Levittown sold only Stove Chows this year and un-like last season, they didn't overbuy.. if anything, they brought less to the store.
only have a few skids here and they do stop selling pellets in Feb... May get in 1 more truckload in before done selling.. held steady at 259.00 all winter.

 

The 3 different Lowe's I've been to this past week all have around a 100 ton + - and they are starting the spring change over . I don't think there will be a $ 99 / ton sale , but I think we may see a price drop of 50 cents or so a bag , we'll know in a few weeks , they didn't over buy like last year .

 

That's pretty much the same up here too at HD....same pricing too.

 

I will agree the speed bump will burn if any of it is left in the pot..

 

I would call those Clinker in my opinion .

 

I called my Lowes today to see what was in stock...Power Pellet - no thanks! Asked when they might be getting more in and was told they weren't...none on order.

 

yea, the BB's are now thinking Spring has sprung! Plants, landscaping, etc will soon be taking over the space those pellets sat in. Why take the risk of having to liquidate in a few weeks when you can get sure sales on Spring stuff?

 

my HD here has about 5 skids of Stove chows still at 259.00.. It's all they sold this season..
Don't blame em. People here buy them. specially when Ace Hardware few miles away sells Lignetics at 369.00!!!!! THAT'S NOT A TYPO....YIKES.

Was not a bums rush to buy pellets this year there as I didn't see the volume of past years..
I don't buy chows but I keep an eye out there in case they actually get something in that is above middle road like one season when Blazers came in at standard 249.00.
don't see them getting anymore stock in this month..

 

well, keep yer eyes open for deals....if they are going to happen, this year is it...and soon (I think, but I am guessing)
