Well, sooner or later it had to happen. With all the thread hijacks about Scrapple and Sausage it's time for a breakfast thread.

    So FHC'ers. What's for breakfast?

With all the talk about scrapple lately, it made me hungry.
We have a local brand called Meadows that is the best scrapple money can buy!

If you dust it with flour, it soaks up a little moisture and forms a crust while frying.
    Keeps it from sticking also

Of coarse, you gotta have eggs with it

    MMMMmmmm, breakfast!

Doing breakfast for lunch today. Eggs and French toast with pure Wisconsin maple syrup from Hulsteds sugar bush near Rice Lake, once I get my morning list done. :)

Had to Google it. There has been a huge amish community here for 40 years and I've never heard of it.
Had steak and eggs this morning. Been fighting a cold and the effects of a long hard fought work season. Winding down now. Time to build a head of steam for spring.

An Open Letter to All You Beautiful Bastards:

I just finished page 114 of the private message and I must say I am still beside myself in disbelief. I would like to thank each and every one of you, but a special thanks to DexterDay Shawn Curry and that lying bastard schlot

I find it hilarious that while I extending hospitality toward my guest you were all dying with anticipation and thinking that schlitz, I mean schlot, and I were reading the PM and maniacally laughing at you all anxiously waiting. And then you blew up his phone until he had no battery left to upload the video LOL!

But the gifts were too much. The money, the gift certificate, but most of all the ice cream dishes-- we will treasure them always!

Seriously, you guys couldn't have picked a better restaurant as The Branding Iron is literally next door to The Gun Bank, where I do most of my shopping.

And the money, all that for a new computer? Wow! I will get something great with this and you guys are going to have to be patient because I have a few things up my sleeve! I will probably also repair our desktop computer which is anything but stable at this point, and it will continue to do proud service to you folks at FHC. But yes, this will be a laptop-- I like to be comfortable whilst I work and don't have or want any special work space set up to do my computing from. That would make this start feel more like a job and less like a hobby.

Anyway, I've run out of things to say at this point but THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Thank you Grizz, I am not going to pretend to know anything about a computer cause I don't, all I know is when I get on this site, I enjoy it, and it works. What the people do behind the scenes I can't pretend to know anything about. I just know you do a great job. I hope you enjoy your new computer system and the holidays with your family!

Mine was in a quart jar with no label on it, and I'm feeling it today... It may have been the one I had after dinner, or the one right before bed, I don't know, I just know one of them got me...

    Your welcome Grizzly Adam !

As for breakfast, the usual Saturday and Sunday consist of bacon, eggs, buttered toast and homeade home fries. Today however the local high school was doing their annual breakfast with Santa fundraiser. So we went there and had eggs, pancakes and sausage!

Dang, I missed this. I made eggs with crumbled breakfast sausage, cinnamon, real butter, real cream and real maple syrup (NH made of course) - all in a wonderful big scramble.
