One shot in town won't be noticed too much.

I'm up to 6 this year so far. Havaheart traps with apples, maters, or anything else laying around. I use 22 shorts and dump them back down their holes.

I have GAMO pellet rifle, I know that it would kill that critter. 1250-fps that's right up there with a 22lr.:rootintootin:

I so miss hunting hogs with the compound. Haven't had any around in years. Can't figure out why? Maybe cause they dead!

Glad you fixed that, I tried to figure out was baiting with Muskegon was. Not a hit in my web search. SmokeyTheBear has a way to get rid of them. He puts the dead ones on a compost pile in the woods. Says it is the only dead critter that other critters ignore.

Hey Larry, the critter that the others ignore on my recycle pile is a Ricky the Whistle Pigs get hauled away usually the same night I dump them sometimes it takes a couple of days (temperature). Use what the hogs are eating for bait, although I have caught them in an unabated trap placed in the right spot.

The mice dispose of the Rickies after the bugs, flies, and maggots do most of the work. It takes quite awhile.

Only problem with the aguila 60 gr units is accuracy sucks in a conventional 16 twist .22lr unit ( too slow). CCI calls the sub sonic reduced report items QuietZone now, 40gr at 720fps .22lr- not to bad in a long barrel a bit too snappy in an 18" unit for my taste but I have a huge ravine behind my place that acts as a amplifier for any kind of sound near it. They do hit with a very solid thump.

Problem here in WI, some group managed to get them protected unless causing a problem for livestock on the farms - this goes back some 35 years already. ( imho" what a crock of droppings")

The big hav-a-hart worked for me, even on the grown ones. Just camouflage it good with lots of tasty green things.

CRS is a common problem especially with me because I want to know less tomorrow than I knew today which hopefully is less than what I knew yesterday, pretty soon I will be an expert in nothing .

:yes:. I've had something leaving droppings on the porch. Got a trap set for that. Also had what looks like coon poop by the chicken pen. Trap set there too.
