My local usually starts getting them in early September. About the same for Lowes. TSC should(if they repeat last season) have an early buy coupon coming out soon. Last season was $25 off per ton up to a 4 tons. Then you picked up when the arrived.
Not necessarily. Two years ago I scored Blazers at HD after the 1st of the year, maybe a little later, when the shortage was in full force. Last year I got them toward the end of the fall, after I had already bought 3 tons of FSU's.
Fine with me if HD doesn't bring Blazers to the east coast this year. As long as they offer a suitable replacement fir product in their place
I was thinking more along the lines of a certain pres-to-logs product, distributed from a plant in Idaho. Bear Mountains would be an acceptable substitute as well.
We've fished twice already. One or two more times and you buzzards best watch out! My buzzard will be back in the air! Sputtering, But in the air non the less!!
No, I've only seen them at the pellet "boutiques" I believe both of those companies produce flooring and/or furniture.
Jay, BT posted their early buy prices for Lacrete and North Country: $285/ton. Is that low enough to entice you?
I have the opportunity get $ from local neighbors here, and bring a semi from either of 2 other states. I just don't think I have it in me to coordinate. I also worry about hurting the local dealer that sells stoves and seasonal pellets. What do you think? I might be a one time deal *if* I could make it work, unlike year round like Lousyweather. Our dealers do not carry pellets year round, but they bring in alot during fall and winter....
You need to do what's best for you. The dealer will be fine with or without your business. But if you feel like spending a couple extra bucks to support local business is more important to you then that is what you should do.
