Since last year I have been looking at zero turn mowers. So many to consider........ stand up, sit down, bend over.....
So many that the sales people can't keep up.
Next door neighbor for the hell of it mowed our lawn with his prosumer Scag..... realistic 20 minutes and done.
    I was sold.
Probably will put 10 hours a year on a mower. It sucks to not be able to trot behind a walker anymore.

I finally pulled the trigger last year. I should have gotten one sooner.

Pretty much. Although with my 1 acre of land, and less to actually mow, even a low end ezt 2200 transaxle equipped zero turn would work great for me. Newer ezt 2200 ones have drain plugs and you can easily change the oil, despite no filters. I wouldn't use it for anything except lawn mowing. I will use the ariens gt for hauling wood around.

I was looking at Spartans & Toro, I believe Toro bought Spartan.

Toro dealer is about 40 miles & Spartan dealer is about 75miles.

I ended up with a Deere, the dealer is only about 15 miles away, they offered the most for my trade in, had a couple of other rebates, 0% interest for 36 or 48 months, or .9% for 60 months.

Figured Deere could carry me & I could throw money at other things.

Z760R is a professional series , 4year/1000hr warranty. It does great on banks & rides very well.

My Dad has a Z530, it doesn’t do as well on banks & doesn’t ride as well.

I bought a Bad Boy a few years back. Is it a Scag = nope.
Great mower for what I paid when I bought it , runs great , cuts great and leaves perfect stripes.

Kawasaki motor and Hydro gear drives ( with filters) .

    Money well spent

Over 10 years ago got mine; I tried on my land, demo / test drove Skag, toro, Exmark and Ferris
Deere wouldn’t let me, I don’t have a lawn, I mow the pasture on which the house was constructed. I bought the Ferris, probably the least capable mower of the ones I tested; had suspension. Turns out I needed that more

I went through the same process reading and comparing for over a year. It is mind numbing after awhile. Ended up buying a used one that I thought was a good price. Husky PZ-60. Wanted a 54 but I had had enough of shopping. Older machine, well used, was in a fleet as it’s numbered #1. I’ve been running it for years now with nothing but an oil change and one safety switch went bad. Can’t complain at all.

I got a Scag Liberty Z ....with a 48 inch deck. Bought it in April 2018.
    It's a dam good mower.
It's the first OPE I got with a Kawasaki engine, and I had a couple bent push rods this spring.
I got a couple replacements from amazon and thankfully it was a pretty easy job.

There is a Ferris dealer about 6 miles from me but after they brought dad out a turd a few years ago, I didn’t even go look at them.

Yes, Toro bought Spartan. Now there's Stihl mowers which are made by/ owned by Briggs and Stratton.

There will be hoarder out in Connecticut that will be trading in his roofing/construction tools & buying one of those orange mowers.

Think of all the firewood possibilities he could eyeball, drool over & secure while mowing lawns.

Weeel, I just pulled the trigger on a Bobcat.
Whew... glad it is over. Unless I wreck it it should be my last mower purchase.

Bobcat! I forgot about Bobcat! You had me stumped with that clue earlier...I was thinking Tiger, but you said it was not a Scag, so I was
Bobcat is a good machine, I looked at those at one point.
