I have a 3 year old Golden Delicious that barely made it through the winter. But, it's coming back.... I've scraped the skin and found plenty of dead areas, so should I prune them now? Other strong branches ( new growth) have lots of dead above the new growth, should they also be trimmed? If I trim, should I seal the cuts? Thanks in advance, tough to try fruit trees up here.
