Well to be fair it has a few design flaws. I've made a couple in the past and from what I see for one is I believe the shape of the wedge is wrong. It is to light and to fast. And the log should be on it's side not standing up. It needs sides to contain the splits. And it looks a bit high off the ground. If I saw it in person I'd probably go on.
I’d use it just to try it out. Beyond that nah, I can get in trouble easier than that. The day will come that thing will remove someone’s teeth.
Where is everyones sense of adventure? You guys get all excited & stuffs about the adventure of hoarding. Whats not to be excited about with this thing… It should keep a persons adrenaline really pumping with every split knowing that you cheated the hospital of an ER visit and/or are cheating the Old Man with the Scythe with every spin of the wheel.
Seems quite manually intensive. I'd use it once to say I did, kind of like I climbed MT Washington just to say I did.
I would not. With the blade constantly spinning that fast one has to be very mind full and then having to time pushing the round into the blade. I want to be in control of the machine, not the machine in control of me. I also like the way he is dressed for using it. No boots or long pants but does go through the effort of wearing hearing protection.
I shot a S&W500 with 700gr Buffalo Bore hard cast bullets one handed. Wasn't fun, didn't enjoy, and I rarely get to say I did it.
