Woodyard workout

    Spring like weather in the PNW so for the rest of the cuts hauled down to the splitter pile.
    Walked up the trail and found another project waiting for attention. I think I’ll cut into sections I can drag with the winch down to where the trail is flatter.
    Elk have the upper trail chewed up so will have to wait for it to dry before hauling.
    This stuff is just starting to turn but is still solid so I think it will work fine.

    Alder. It tends to rot pretty fast so can’t leave it on the ground too long before it gets punky.
